What to SAY When Leading Worship

Ryland Russell and Jimmy Cooper discuss some of the common fails worship leaders may experience while speaking from the stage. As they both agree, public speaking is a part of the role that is often not considered when taking on the job. They’ve experienced many fails due to not preparing and accidentally switching words while singing. To help with this, they suggest six things that worship leaders can talk about between songs such as promoting upcoming events, sharing stories, using humor, giving meaningful quotes, relating to the congregation, and encouraging others.
